This policy explains what personal data Kefalonia.gr processes when you use the website and our AI travel assistant, Memas, why we do it, who receives it, how long we keep it and what your rights are. We have written it in plain language and kept it to what the site actually does.
1. Who is responsible

2. In short
- You can read the site without telling us your name or email address.
- When you use Memas, what you type is sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, in the United States, to produce the answer. We keep your latest message, without your name or IP address, for 90 days.
- Google Analytics (through Cloudflare Zaraz) runs only if you accept analytics cookies in our consent banner. We use no other analytics service.
- Some pages can show partner content (GetYourGuide, Ferryhopper, meteoblue). It sets its own cookies, so it loads only after you allow partner content; until then you see a plain link to the partner instead.
- If you use the contact form or the business waitlist, we receive your details by email.
3. What we process, why, and on what legal basis
3.1 Memas, the AI travel assistant
What: the text you type, the recent conversation (up to the last 20 messages) and the language of the page. We do not send your name, email address or IP address to the AI provider.
Why: to generate an answer to your question. To answer, Memas can search a fixed list of travel websites; for that, the AI provider may turn your question into search queries.
Who receives it: Anthropic, PBC (United States), which runs the AI model on our behalf as our processor. According to Anthropic's commercial terms, the content we send is not used to train its models.
What we store: we store your most recent message, its language and the time in our database (Cloudflare D1) so that we can see what visitors ask and improve the guide. It is not linked to your IP address or to any other identifier, and it is deleted automatically after 90 days.
On your device: your conversation is kept in your browser's local storage for 24 hours so that it survives a page reload. "New conversation" clears it, and so does clearing the site data in your browser.
Legal basis: answering your question is necessary to provide the service you ask for (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). Keeping your latest message for 90 days is based on our legitimate interest in improving the guide (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR); we keep only the text, without identifiers, and for a limited time.
Please do not type personal or sensitive information (for example health details, ID or payment numbers) into Memas. It does not need it to plan a trip.
3.2 Contact form and business waitlist
What: contact form: first name, last name, email address, subject and message. Business waitlist (on the home page and the Memas page): business name, type of business, email address and website.
Why: to answer your message, or to contact your business about a listing.
How: the form is not stored in our database. It is sent by our email service, Resend, Inc. (United States), to our mailbox, which is hosted by Google (Gmail). Resend also sends you an automatic confirmation. We keep the email for as long as we need it to deal with your enquiry.
Legal basis: steps you ask us to take (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
3.3 Security and abuse prevention
What: your IP address. To protect the service and keep its costs under control, we limit how many requests one IP address can make: 10 Memas messages per hour, 3 contact-form messages per hour and 10 login attempts per 15 minutes for site administrators. For this, your IP address is kept as a short-lived counter in Cloudflare's storage and deleted automatically after one hour (Memas and the contact form) or 15 minutes (login attempts).
Cloudflare, Inc., our hosting and network provider, also processes your IP address to deliver the pages and protect them from attacks.
For the administration area only, we keep a log of logins and changes with the IP address used, including failed login attempts. These entries are deleted automatically after 12 months.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and available (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
3.4 Analytics
We use one analytics service to understand how many people visit and which pages they read:
- Google Analytics 4, run through Cloudflare Zaraz. It records page views and technical information about your browser and device, sets the cookies listed in section 4, and sends the data to Google (Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC). It runs only if you accept the “Analytics” purpose in our consent banner. Google's advertising features are currently enabled on our account; they apply only to visitors who accept analytics. We keep this data for the period configured in our Google Analytics account.
On your first visit a consent banner asks whether you allow analytics and partner content. Accepting and rejecting are equally easy, and nothing in these two groups loads before you choose. You can change your choice at any time with the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page.
Legal basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.
3.5 Partner content and booking links
Some pages show content that loads directly from our partners. These partners decide themselves how they use the data and are responsible for it; their own privacy policies apply.
- Activities page: a GetYourGuide booking widget (GetYourGuide Deutschland GmbH, Germany) that sets its own cookies and sends usage data to GetYourGuide.
- Ferries page: a Ferryhopper booking widget (Ferryhopper, Greece) that sets its own cookies and loads Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics for Ferryhopper.
- Weather page: meteoblue forecasts (meteoblue AG, Switzerland) that set their own cookies and load Cloudflare Web Analytics.
This content loads, and sets its cookies, only after you allow the “Partner content” purpose, either in the consent banner or with the “Load booking widget” or “Show forecast” button shown in its place. Until then each page shows a plain link to the partner instead.
Legal basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.
Many links to GetYourGuide and Ferryhopper carry our partner identifier, so that the partner can pay us a commission if you book. When you follow such a link, the partner's site sets its own cookies. A booking is a contract between you and the partner, not with us.
3.6 Fonts
Our fonts (Cormorant Garamond and DM Sans) are served from our own server, so loading them sends no data to Google or to any other third party.
3.7 Community tips from public social media
To give answers with a local flavour, Memas draws on tips from public posts and comments in public Facebook groups about Kefalonia, collected once in May 2026. We keep only the text, the number of likes and the collection date, not the author's name or profile. Some texts may still mention people or include contact details.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in offering local, community-based travel information (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). If you recognise your post or comment and want it removed, write to us and we will delete it.
3.8 Storage in your browser
The site itself stores three small items in your browser's local storage: your language choice (kef_lang), your Memas conversation for 24 hours (memas_session_…) and whether you closed the business banner on the Memas page (memas_b2b_dismissed). They stay on your device and are used only to make the site work as you set it.
3.9 Hosting
Our pages are delivered by Cloudflare, Inc. and served from a server operated by Hetzner Online GmbH (Germany). Technical access logs may be recorded on that server.
3.10 Polls
The short poll on the home page stores only your answers and the page language. It does not identify you.
4. Cookies
Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser. These are the cookies we observed on our pages on 19 October 2026. Analytics and partner cookies are set only after you give the matching consent:

5. Who receives your data
Our processors, who act only on our instructions: Cloudflare, Inc. (hosting, network, database, Zaraz), Anthropic, PBC (the Memas AI model), Resend, Inc. (sending form emails), Google (Gmail mailbox) and Hetzner Online GmbH (server).
Independent controllers, who decide for themselves: Google (Analytics), GetYourGuide, Ferryhopper and meteoblue, as described above.
We do not sell your personal data.
6. Transfers outside the European Economic Area
Anthropic, Cloudflare, Google and Resend are based in the United States, so your data may be transferred there. For Google and Cloudflare the transfer relies on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; for Anthropic and Resend it relies on appropriate safeguards. meteoblue is in Switzerland, which the European Commission recognises as providing adequate protection.
7. How long we keep data
- Memas: your latest message in our database for 90 days; the conversation in your browser for 24 hours.
- Rate-limit counters with your IP address: 1 hour (15 minutes for login attempts).
- Contact form and waitlist emails: as long as needed to deal with your enquiry.
- Administration log (logins and changes, with IP address): 12 months.
- Analytics: as configured with Google.
- Community tips: until they are no longer needed for travel answers, or until you ask us to delete yours.
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its use, to receive it in a portable format and to withdraw any consent at any time. To use these rights, email [email protected]. We answer within one month and may ask you to confirm your identity.
Your Memas messages are stored without your name or IP address, so we can find one only if you tell us its exact text and roughly when you sent it.
You also have the right to complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (www.dpa.gr).
9. About Memas
Memas is an artificial intelligence, not a person. Its answers are generated automatically and can be wrong or out of date. Check important details, such as timetables, prices and opening hours, with the provider before you rely on them.
10. Children
Kefalonia.gr is a general travel website and is not aimed at children. We do not knowingly collect children's data. Children under 15 should use Memas only with a parent or guardian.
11. Changes
We will update this policy when the site changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
Η πολιτική αυτή εξηγεί ποια προσωπικά δεδομένα επεξεργάζεται το Kefalonia.gr όταν χρησιμοποιείτε τον ιστότοπο και τον ταξιδιωτικό βοηθό τεχνητής νοημοσύνης μας, τον Μεμά, για ποιον λόγο, ποιος τα λαμβάνει, πόσο καιρό τα διατηρούμε και ποια είναι τα δικαιώματά σας. 2. Με λίγα λόγια
- Μπορείτε να διαβάζετε τον ιστότοπο χωρίς να μας δώσετε το όνομα ή το email σας.
- Όταν χρησιμοποιείτε τον Μεμά, ό,τι γράφετε αποστέλλεται στον πάροχο τεχνητής νοημοσύνης μας, την Anthropic, στις Ηνωμένες Πολιτείες, για να δημιουργηθεί η απάντηση. Κρατάμε το τελευταίο σας μήνυμα, χωρίς όνομα ή διεύθυνση IP, για 90 ημέρες.
- Το Google Analytics (μέσω του Cloudflare Zaraz) λειτουργεί μόνο αν αποδεχτείτε τα cookies στατιστικών στο μήνυμα συγκατάθεσης. Δεν χρησιμοποιούμε άλλη υπηρεσία στατιστικών.
- Ορισμένες σελίδες μπορούν να εμφανίσουν περιεχόμενο συνεργατών (GetYourGuide, Ferryhopper, meteoblue). Επειδή αποθηκεύει δικά του cookies, φορτώνει μόνο αφού επιτρέψετε το περιεχόμενο συνεργατών· μέχρι τότε βλέπετε στη θέση του έναν απλό σύνδεσμο προς τον συνεργάτη.

3. Τι επεξεργαζόμαστε, γιατί και με ποια νομική βάση
3.1 Ο Μεμάς, ο ταξιδιωτικός βοηθός τεχνητής νοημοσύνης
Τι: το κείμενο που γράφετε, την πρόσφατη συνομιλία (έως τα τελευταία 20 μηνύματα) και τη γλώσσα της σελίδας. Δεν στέλνουμε στον πάροχο τεχνητής νοημοσύνης το όνομα, το email ή τη διεύθυνση IP σας.
Γιατί: για να δημιουργηθεί απάντηση στην ερώτησή σας. Για να απαντήσει, ο Μεμάς μπορεί να αναζητήσει πληροφορίες σε μια σταθερή λίστα ταξιδιωτικών ιστοτόπων· γι' αυτό ο πάροχος μπορεί να μετατρέψει την ερώτησή σας σε όρους αναζήτησης.
Ποιος τα λαμβάνει: η Anthropic, PBC (Ηνωμένες Πολιτείες), η οποία εκτελεί το μοντέλο τεχνητής νοημοσύνης για λογαριασμό μας ως εκτελών την επεξεργασία. Σύμφωνα με τους εμπορικούς όρους της Anthropic, το περιεχόμενο που στέλνουμε δεν χρησιμοποιείται για την εκπαίδευση των μοντέλων της.
Τι αποθηκεύουμε: αποθηκεύουμε το πιο πρόσφατο μήνυμά σας, τη γλώσσα του και την ώρα στη βάση δεδομένων μας (Cloudflare D1), ώστε να βλέπουμε τι ρωτούν οι επισκέπτες και να βελτιώνουμε τον οδηγό. Δεν συνδέεται με τη διεύθυνση IP σας ούτε με άλλο αναγνωριστικό και διαγράφεται αυτόματα μετά από 90 ημέρες.
Στη συσκευή σας: η συνομιλία σας διατηρείται στον τοπικό χώρο αποθήκευσης του περιηγητή σας για 24 ώρες, ώστε να μη χαθεί αν ανανεώσετε τη σελίδα. Η επιλογή «Νέα συνομιλία» τη διαγράφει, όπως και η διαγραφή των δεδομένων του ιστοτόπου από τον περιηγητή σας.
Νομική βάση: η απάντηση στην ερώτησή σας είναι αναγκαία για να σας παρέχουμε την υπηρεσία που ζητάτε (άρθρο 6 παρ. 1 στοιχ. β΄ ΓΚΠΔ). Η διατήρηση του τελευταίου σας μηνύματος για 90 ημέρες βασίζεται στο έννομο συμφέρον μας να βελτιώνουμε τον οδηγό (άρθρο 6 παρ. 1 στοιχ. στ΄ ΓΚΠΔ)· κρατάμε μόνο το κείμενο, χωρίς αναγνωριστικά, και για περιορισμένο χρόνο.
Παρακαλούμε μη γράφετε στον Μεμά προσωπικές ή ευαίσθητες πληροφορίες (για παράδειγμα στοιχεία υγείας, αριθμούς ταυτότητας ή πληρωμής). Δεν τις χρειάζεται για να σχεδιάσει ένα ταξίδι.
3.2 Φόρμα επικοινωνίας και λίστα αναμονής επιχειρήσεων
Τι: στη φόρμα επικοινωνίας: όνομα, επώνυμο, email, θέμα και μήνυμα. Στη λίστα αναμονής επιχειρήσεων (στην αρχική σελίδα και στη σελίδα του Μεμά): επωνυμία, είδος επιχείρησης, email και ιστότοπο.
Γιατί: για να απαντήσουμε στο μήνυμά σας ή για να επικοινωνήσουμε με την επιχείρησή σας σχετικά με μια καταχώριση.
Πώς: η φόρμα δεν αποθηκεύεται στη βάση δεδομένων μας. Αποστέλλεται μέσω της υπηρεσίας email Resend, Inc. (Ηνωμένες Πολιτείες) στο γραμματοκιβώτιό μας, το οποίο φιλοξενείται από την Google (Gmail). Η Resend σάς στέλνει επίσης αυτόματη επιβεβαίωση. Κρατάμε το email όσο χρειάζεται για να διεκπεραιώσουμε το αίτημά σας.
Νομική βάση: ενέργειες που μας ζητάτε (άρθρο 6 παρ. 1 στοιχ. β΄ ΓΚΠΔ) και το έννομο συμφέρον μας να απαντάμε σε ερωτήματα (άρθρο 6 παρ. 1 στοιχ. στ΄ ΓΚΠΔ).
3.3 Ασφάλεια και πρόληψη κατάχρησης
Τι: τη διεύθυνση IP σας. Για να προστατεύσουμε την υπηρεσία και να ελέγχουμε το κόστος της, περιορίζουμε τα αιτήματα από μία διεύθυνση IP: 10 μηνύματα στον Μεμά την ώρα, 3 μηνύματα από τη φόρμα επικοινωνίας την ώρα και 10 προσπάθειες σύνδεσης ανά 15 λεπτά για τους διαχειριστές του ιστοτόπου. Γι' αυτό η διεύθυνση IP σας διατηρείται ως μετρητής μικρής διάρκειας στον χώρο αποθήκευσης της Cloudflare και διαγράφεται αυτόματα μετά από μία ώρα (Μεμάς και φόρμα επικοινωνίας) ή 15 λεπτά (προσπάθειες σύνδεσης).
Η Cloudflare, Inc., ο πάροχος φιλοξενίας και δικτύου μας, επεξεργάζεται επίσης τη διεύθυνση IP σας για να παραδίδει τις σελίδες και να τις προστατεύει από επιθέσεις.
Μόνο για τον χώρο διαχείρισης, τηρούμε αρχείο συνδέσεων και αλλαγών με τη διεύθυνση IP που χρησιμοποιήθηκε, μαζί με τις αποτυχημένες προσπάθειες σύνδεσης. Οι εγγραφές αυτές διαγράφονται αυτόματα μετά από 12 μήνες.
Νομική βάση: το έννομο συμφέρον μας να διατηρούμε τον ιστότοπο ασφαλή και διαθέσιμο (άρθρο 6 παρ. 1 στοιχ. στ΄ ΓΚΠΔ).
3.4 Στατιστικά επισκεψιμότητας
Χρησιμοποιούμε μία υπηρεσία στατιστικών για να καταλαβαίνουμε πόσοι μας επισκέπτονται και ποιες σελίδες διαβάζουν:
- Google Analytics 4, μέσω του Cloudflare Zaraz. Καταγράφει τις προβολές σελίδων και τεχνικές πληροφορίες για τον περιηγητή και τη συσκευή σας, αποθηκεύει τα cookies της ενότητας 4 και στέλνει τα δεδομένα στην Google (Google Ireland Limited και Google LLC). Λειτουργεί μόνο αν αποδεχτείτε τον σκοπό «Στατιστικά» στο μήνυμα συγκατάθεσης. Οι διαφημιστικές λειτουργίες της Google είναι προς το παρόν ενεργές στον λογαριασμό μας και αφορούν μόνο όσους αποδέχονται τα στατιστικά. Τα δεδομένα αυτά διατηρούνται για το διάστημα που έχει οριστεί στον λογαριασμό μας στο Google Analytics.
Στην πρώτη σας επίσκεψη, ένα μήνυμα συγκατάθεσης σας ρωτά αν επιτρέπετε τα στατιστικά και το περιεχόμενο συνεργατών. Η αποδοχή και η απόρριψη είναι εξίσου εύκολες και τίποτα από τις δύο αυτές κατηγορίες δεν φορτώνει πριν επιλέξετε. Μπορείτε να αλλάξετε την επιλογή σας οποτεδήποτε από τον σύνδεσμο «Ρυθμίσεις cookies» στο κάτω μέρος κάθε σελίδας.
Νομική βάση: η συγκατάθεσή σας (άρθρο 6 παρ. 1 στοιχ. α΄ ΓΚΠΔ), την οποία μπορείτε να ανακαλέσετε οποτεδήποτε.
3.5 Περιεχόμενο συνεργατών και σύνδεσμοι κράτησης
Ορισμένες σελίδες εμφανίζουν περιεχόμενο που φορτώνεται απευθείας από τους συνεργάτες μας. Οι συνεργάτες αυτοί αποφασίζουν οι ίδιοι πώς χρησιμοποιούν τα δεδομένα και είναι υπεύθυνοι γι' αυτά· ισχύουν οι δικές τους πολιτικές απορρήτου.
- Σελίδα δραστηριοτήτων: εφαρμογή κρατήσεων της GetYourGuide (GetYourGuide Deutschland GmbH, Γερμανία), η οποία αποθηκεύει δικά της cookies και στέλνει δεδομένα χρήσης στην GetYourGuide.
- Σελίδα πλοίων: εφαρμογή κρατήσεων της Ferryhopper (Ferryhopper, Ελλάδα), η οποία αποθηκεύει δικά της cookies και φορτώνει το Google Tag Manager και το Google Analytics για λογαριασμό της Ferryhopper.
- Σελίδα καιρού: προγνώσεις της meteoblue (meteoblue AG, Ελβετία), οι οποίες αποθηκεύουν δικά τους cookies και φορτώνουν το Cloudflare Web Analytics.
Το περιεχόμενο αυτό φορτώνει, και αποθηκεύει τα cookies του, μόνο αφού επιτρέψετε τον σκοπό «Περιεχόμενο συνεργατών», είτε στο μήνυμα συγκατάθεσης είτε με το κουμπί «Φόρτωση φόρμας κράτησης» ή «Εμφάνιση πρόγνωσης» που εμφανίζεται στη θέση του. Μέχρι τότε κάθε σελίδα εμφανίζει έναν απλό σύνδεσμο προς τον συνεργάτη.
Νομική βάση: η συγκατάθεσή σας (άρθρο 6 παρ. 1 στοιχ. α΄ ΓΚΠΔ), την οποία μπορείτε να ανακαλέσετε οποτεδήποτε.
Πολλοί σύνδεσμοι προς τη GetYourGuide και τη Ferryhopper περιέχουν τον κωδικό συνεργάτη μας, ώστε ο συνεργάτης να μας καταβάλει προμήθεια αν κάνετε κράτηση. Όταν ακολουθείτε έναν τέτοιο σύνδεσμο, ο ιστότοπος του συνεργάτη αποθηκεύει δικά του cookies. Η κράτηση είναι σύμβαση ανάμεσα σε εσάς και τον συνεργάτη, όχι με εμάς.
3.6 Γραμματοσειρές
Οι γραμματοσειρές μας (Cormorant Garamond και DM Sans) φορτώνονται από τον δικό μας διακομιστή, οπότε η φόρτωσή τους δεν στέλνει δεδομένα στην Google ή σε άλλο τρίτο μέρος.
3.7 Συμβουλές της κοινότητας από δημόσια μέσα κοινωνικής δικτύωσης
Για να δίνει απαντήσεις με τοπικό χρώμα, ο Μεμάς αξιοποιεί συμβουλές από δημόσιες αναρτήσεις και σχόλια σε δημόσιες ομάδες του Facebook για την Κεφαλονιά, που συλλέχθηκαν μία φορά τον Μάιο του 2026. Κρατάμε μόνο το κείμενο, τον αριθμό των «μου αρέσει» και την ημερομηνία συλλογής, όχι το όνομα ή το προφίλ του συντάκτη. Ορισμένα κείμενα μπορεί ωστόσο να αναφέρουν πρόσωπα ή να περιέχουν στοιχεία επικοινωνίας.
Νομική βάση: το έννομο συμφέρον μας να προσφέρουμε τοπικές ταξιδιωτικές πληροφορίες από την κοινότητα (άρθρο 6 παρ. 1 στοιχ. στ΄ ΓΚΠΔ). Αν αναγνωρίσετε την ανάρτηση ή το σχόλιό σας και θέλετε να αφαιρεθεί, γράψτε μας και θα το διαγράψουμε.
3.8 Αποθήκευση στον περιηγητή σας
Ο ίδιος ο ιστότοπος αποθηκεύει τρία μικρά στοιχεία στον τοπικό χώρο αποθήκευσης του περιηγητή σας: την επιλογή γλώσσας (kef_lang), τη συνομιλία σας με τον Μεμά για 24 ώρες (memas_session_…) και αν κλείσατε το μήνυμα για επιχειρήσεις στη σελίδα του Μεμά (memas_b2b_dismissed). Παραμένουν στη συσκευή σας και χρησιμοποιούνται μόνο για να λειτουργεί ο ιστότοπος όπως τον ρυθμίσατε.
3.9 Φιλοξενία

5. Ποιος λαμβάνει τα δεδομένα σας
Οι εκτελούντες την επεξεργασία, που ενεργούν μόνο με τις οδηγίες μας: Cloudflare, Inc. (φιλοξενία, δίκτυο, βάση δεδομένων, Zaraz), Anthropic, PBC (το μοντέλο τεχνητής νοημοσύνης του Μεμά), Resend, Inc. 7. Πόσο καιρό διατηρούμε τα δεδομένα
- Μεμάς: το τελευταίο σας μήνυμα στη βάση δεδομένων μας για 90 ημέρες· η συνομιλία στον περιηγητή σας για 24 ώρες.
- Μετρητές περιορισμού αιτημάτων με τη διεύθυνση IP σας: 1 ώρα (15 λεπτά για τις προσπάθειες σύνδεσης).
- Email από τη φόρμα επικοινωνίας και τη λίστα αναμονής: όσο χρειάζεται για να διεκπεραιωθεί το αίτημά σας.
- Αρχείο διαχείρισης (συνδέσεις και αλλαγές, με διεύθυνση IP): 12 μήνες.
- Στατιστικά: όπως έχει οριστεί στην Google.
- Συμβουλές της κοινότητας: μέχρι να μη χρειάζονται πλέον για ταξιδιωτικές απαντήσεις ή μέχρι να μας ζητήσετε να διαγράψουμε τη δική σας.
8. Τα δικαιώματά σας
Σύμφωνα με τον ΓΚΠΔ έχετε δικαίωμα πρόσβασης στα δεδομένα σας, διόρθωσης ή διαγραφής τους, περιορισμού της χρήσης τους ή εναντίωσης σε αυτήν, λήψης τους σε φορητή μορφή και ανάκλησης κάθε συγκατάθεσης οποτεδήποτε. Για να ασκήσετε αυτά τα δικαιώματα, στείλτε email στο [email protected]. Απαντάμε μέσα σε έναν μήνα και ενδέχεται να σας ζητήσουμε να επιβεβαιώσετε την ταυτότητά σας.
Τα μηνύματά σας στον Μεμά αποθηκεύονται χωρίς όνομα ή διεύθυνση IP, γι' αυτό μπορούμε να βρούμε ένα μήνυμα μόνο αν μας πείτε το ακριβές κείμενο και περίπου πότε το στείλατε.
Έχετε επίσης δικαίωμα να υποβάλετε καταγγελία στην Αρχή Προστασίας Δεδομένων Προσωπικού Χαρακτήρα (www.dpa.gr).
9. Σχετικά με τον Μεμά
Ο Μεμάς είναι τεχνητή νοημοσύνη, όχι άνθρωπος. Οι απαντήσεις του δημιουργούνται αυτόματα και μπορεί να είναι λανθασμένες ή ξεπερασμένες. Ελέγχετε τις σημαντικές λεπτομέρειες, όπως δρομολόγια, τιμές και ωράρια, με τον πάροχο πριν βασιστείτε σε αυτές.
10. Παιδιά
Το Kefalonia.gr είναι γενικός ταξιδιωτικός ιστότοπος και δεν απευθύνεται σε παιδιά. Δεν συλλέγουμε εν γνώσει μας δεδομένα παιδιών. Τα παιδιά κάτω των 15 ετών θα πρέπει να χρησιμοποιούν τον Μεμά μόνο με γονέα ή κηδεμόνα.

- Quando usi Memas, ciò che scrivi viene inviato al nostro fornitore di intelligenza artificiale, Anthropic, negli Stati Uniti, per generare la risposta. Conserviamo il tuo ultimo messaggio, senza nome né indirizzo IP, per 90 giorni.
- Google Analytics (tramite Cloudflare Zaraz) funziona solo se accetti i cookie statistici nel banner sul consenso. Non usiamo altri servizi di statistica.

3. Cosa trattiamo, perché e su quale base giuridica
3.1 Memas, l'assistente di viaggio con intelligenza artificiale
Cosa: il testo che scrivi, la conversazione recente (fino agli ultimi 20 messaggi) e la lingua della pagina. Non inviamo al fornitore di intelligenza artificiale il tuo nome, il tuo indirizzo email né il tuo indirizzo IP.
Perché: per generare una risposta alla tua domanda. Per rispondere, Memas può cercare informazioni in un elenco fisso di siti di viaggio; a questo scopo il fornitore può trasformare la tua domanda in termini di ricerca.
Chi li riceve: Anthropic, PBC (Stati Uniti), che esegue il modello di intelligenza artificiale per nostro conto come responsabile del trattamento. Secondo i termini commerciali di Anthropic, i contenuti che inviamo non vengono usati per addestrare i suoi modelli.
Cosa conserviamo: conserviamo il tuo messaggio più recente, la sua lingua e l'orario nel nostro database (Cloudflare D1), per capire cosa chiedono i visitatori e migliorare la guida. Non è collegato al tuo indirizzo IP né ad altri identificativi e viene cancellato automaticamente dopo 90 giorni.
Sul tuo dispositivo: la tua conversazione viene conservata nella memoria locale del browser per 24 ore, così non va persa se ricarichi la pagina. "Nuova conversazione" la cancella, così come la cancellazione dei dati del sito dal browser.
Base giuridica: rispondere alla tua domanda è necessario per fornirti il servizio che richiedi (articolo 6, paragrafo 1, lettera b) del GDPR). La conservazione del tuo ultimo messaggio per 90 giorni si basa sul nostro legittimo interesse a migliorare la guida (articolo 6, paragrafo 1, lettera f) del GDPR); conserviamo solo il testo, senza identificativi e per un tempo limitato.
Ti chiediamo di non scrivere a Memas informazioni personali o sensibili (per esempio dati sanitari, numeri di documenti o di pagamento). Non gli servono per organizzare un viaggio.
3.2 Modulo di contatto e lista d'attesa per le attività commerciali
Cosa: nel modulo di contatto: nome, cognome, indirizzo email, oggetto e messaggio. Nella lista d'attesa per le attività commerciali (nella home page e nella pagina di Memas): nome dell'attività, tipo di attività, indirizzo email e sito web.
Perché: per rispondere al tuo messaggio o per contattare la tua attività in merito a un'inserzione.
Come: il modulo non viene salvato nel nostro database. Viene inviato dal nostro servizio email, Resend, Inc. (Stati Uniti), alla nostra casella di posta, ospitata da Google (Gmail). Resend ti invia anche una conferma automatica. Conserviamo l'email per il tempo necessario a gestire la tua richiesta.
Base giuridica: misure adottate su tua richiesta (articolo 6, paragrafo 1, lettera b) del GDPR) e il nostro legittimo interesse a rispondere alle richieste (articolo 6, paragrafo 1, lettera f) del GDPR).
3.3 Sicurezza e prevenzione degli abusi
Cosa: il tuo indirizzo IP. Per proteggere il servizio e tenerne sotto controllo i costi, limitiamo le richieste da uno stesso indirizzo IP: 10 messaggi a Memas all'ora, 3 messaggi dal modulo di contatto all'ora e 10 tentativi di accesso ogni 15 minuti per gli amministratori del sito. A questo scopo il tuo indirizzo IP viene conservato come contatore di breve durata nella memoria di Cloudflare e cancellato automaticamente dopo un'ora (Memas e modulo di contatto) o dopo 15 minuti (tentativi di accesso).
Anche Cloudflare, Inc., il nostro fornitore di hosting e di rete, tratta il tuo indirizzo IP per consegnare le pagine e proteggerle dagli attacchi.
Solo per l'area di amministrazione teniamo un registro degli accessi e delle modifiche con l'indirizzo IP usato, compresi i tentativi di accesso falliti. Queste voci vengono cancellate automaticamente dopo 12 mesi.
Base giuridica: il nostro legittimo interesse a mantenere il sito sicuro e disponibile (articolo 6, paragrafo 1, lettera f) del GDPR).
3.4 Statistiche
Usiamo un solo servizio di statistica per capire quante persone ci visitano e quali pagine leggono:
- Google Analytics 4, tramite Cloudflare Zaraz. Registra le visualizzazioni delle pagine e informazioni tecniche sul tuo browser e sul tuo dispositivo, imposta i cookie elencati nella sezione 4 e invia i dati a Google (Google Ireland Limited e Google LLC). Funziona solo se accetti la finalità «Statistiche» nel banner sul consenso. Le funzioni pubblicitarie di Google sono al momento attive sul nostro account e riguardano solo chi accetta le statistiche. Questi dati vengono conservati per il periodo impostato nel nostro account Google Analytics.
Alla prima visita un banner ti chiede se consenti le statistiche e i contenuti dei partner. Accettare e rifiutare è ugualmente semplice e nulla di questi due gruppi si carica prima della tua scelta. Puoi cambiare la tua scelta in qualsiasi momento con il link «Impostazioni cookie» in fondo a ogni pagina.

3.5 Contenuti dei partner e link di prenotazione
Alcune pagine mostrano contenuti caricati direttamente dai nostri partner. Questi partner decidono autonomamente come usare i dati e ne sono responsabili; si applicano le loro informative sulla privacy.
- Pagina delle attività: un widget di prenotazione di GetYourGuide (GetYourGuide Deutschland GmbH, Germania) che imposta i propri cookie e invia dati di utilizzo a GetYourGuide.
- Pagina dei traghetti: un widget di prenotazione di Ferryhopper (Ferryhopper, Grecia) che imposta i propri cookie e carica Google Tag Manager e Google Analytics per conto di Ferryhopper.
- Pagina del meteo: le previsioni di meteoblue (meteoblue AG, Svizzera), che impostano i propri cookie e caricano Cloudflare Web Analytics.
Questi contenuti si caricano, e impostano i loro cookie, solo dopo che hai consentito la finalità «Contenuti dei partner», nel banner sul consenso oppure con il pulsante «Carica il modulo di prenotazione» o «Mostra le previsioni» che compare al loro posto. Fino ad allora ogni pagina mostra un semplice link al partner.
Base giuridica: il tuo consenso (articolo 6, paragrafo 1, lettera a) del GDPR), che puoi revocare in qualsiasi momento.
Molti link verso GetYourGuide e Ferryhopper contengono il nostro codice partner, così che il partner possa versarci una commissione se prenoti. Quando segui uno di questi link, il sito del partner imposta i propri cookie. La prenotazione è un contratto tra te e il partner, non con noi.
3.6 Caratteri tipografici
I nostri caratteri tipografici (Cormorant Garamond e DM Sans) sono serviti dal nostro server, quindi caricarli non invia dati a Google né ad altri terzi.
3.7 Consigli della comunità dai social media pubblici
Per dare risposte con un tocco locale, Memas si basa su consigli tratti da post e commenti pubblici in gruppi Facebook pubblici su Cefalonia, raccolti una sola volta a maggio 2026. Conserviamo solo il testo, il numero di "mi piace" e la data di raccolta, non il nome né il profilo dell'autore. Alcuni testi possono comunque menzionare persone o contenere recapiti.
Base giuridica: il nostro legittimo interesse a offrire informazioni di viaggio locali basate sulla comunità (articolo 6, paragrafo 1, lettera f) del GDPR). Se riconosci un tuo post o commento e vuoi che venga rimosso, scrivici e lo cancelleremo.
3.8 Memoria del tuo browser
Il sito stesso salva tre piccoli elementi nella memoria locale del tuo browser: la lingua scelta (kef_lang), la tua conversazione con Memas per 24 ore (memas_session_…) e se hai chiuso l'avviso per le attività commerciali nella pagina di Memas (memas_b2b_dismissed). Restano sul tuo dispositivo e servono solo a far funzionare il sito come l'hai impostato.
3.9 Hosting
Le nostre pagine sono consegnate da Cloudflare, Inc. e ospitate su un server gestito da Hetzner Online GmbH (Germania). Su quel server possono essere registrati log tecnici di accesso.
3.10 Sondaggi
Il breve sondaggio nella home page salva solo le tue risposte e la lingua della pagina. Non ti identifica.
4. Cookie

5. Chi riceve i tuoi dati
I nostri responsabili del trattamento, che agiscono solo secondo le nostre istruzioni: Cloudflare, Inc. (hosting, rete, database, Zaraz), Anthropic, PBC (il modello di intelligenza artificiale di Memas), Resend, Inc. (invio delle email dei moduli), Google (casella Gmail) e Hetzner Online GmbH (server).
Titolari autonomi, che decidono per conto proprio: Google (Analytics), GetYourGuide, Ferryhopper e meteoblue, come descritto sopra.
Non vendiamo i tuoi dati personali.
6. Trasferimenti al di fuori dello Spazio economico europeo
Anthropic, Cloudflare, Google e Resend hanno sede negli Stati Uniti, quindi i tuoi dati possono essere trasferiti lì. Per Google e Cloudflare il trasferimento si basa sul quadro UE-USA per la protezione dei dati personali; per Anthropic e Resend si basa su garanzie adeguate. meteoblue si trova in Svizzera, Paese che la Commissione europea riconosce come in grado di garantire una protezione adeguata.
7. Per quanto tempo conserviamo i dati
- Memas: il tuo ultimo messaggio nel nostro database per 90 giorni; la conversazione nel tuo browser per 24 ore.
- Contatori per la limitazione delle richieste con il tuo indirizzo IP: 1 ora (15 minuti per i tentativi di accesso).
- Email dal modulo di contatto e dalla lista d'attesa: per il tempo necessario a gestire la tua richiesta.
- Registro di amministrazione (accessi e modifiche, con indirizzo IP): 12 mesi.
- Statistiche: secondo le impostazioni presso Google.
- Consigli della comunità: finché servono per le risposte di viaggio o finché non ci chiedi di cancellare il tuo.
8. I tuoi diritti
In base al GDPR hai il diritto di accedere ai tuoi dati, di ottenerne la rettifica o la cancellazione, di limitarne il trattamento o di opporti, di riceverli in un formato portabile e di revocare in qualsiasi momento il consenso eventualmente dato. Per esercitare questi diritti scrivi a [email protected]. Rispondiamo entro un mese e potremmo chiederti di confermare la tua identità.
I tuoi messaggi a Memas sono conservati senza nome né indirizzo IP, quindi possiamo trovarne uno solo se ci indichi il testo esatto e all'incirca quando l'hai inviato.
Hai anche il diritto di presentare un reclamo all'Autorità greca per la protezione dei dati personali (www.dpa.gr).
9. Informazioni su Memas
Memas è un'intelligenza artificiale, non una persona. Le sue risposte sono generate automaticamente e possono essere sbagliate o non aggiornate. Verifica i dettagli importanti, come orari, prezzi e giorni di apertura, con il fornitore prima di farvi affidamento.
10. Minori
Kefalonia.gr è un sito di viaggi generalista e non si rivolge ai minori. Non raccogliamo consapevolmente dati di minori. I minori di 15 anni dovrebbero usare Memas solo insieme a un genitore o a un tutore.
11. Modifiche
Aggiorneremo questa informativa quando il sito cambia. La data in alto indica la versione più recente.
